Mindmachines, also known as light and sound devices/audio visual stimulators, may cause seizures and should not be used by anyone with a history of seizures. If you have a tendency towards seizures, auditory disorder, or adverse mental condition(s), DO NOT use a mind machine without first consulting your physician. In the unlikely event that you experience any unusual physical or mental discomfort, immediately discontinue use.
Photosensitive epilepsy is a relatively rare condition that can be evoked by flashing lights including those in a light/sound session. Persons with a known history of epilepsy or have the potential for a seizure should NOT use mindmachines.
Some photosensitive persons may never had had a seizure and are unaware of their condition. Use a mindmachine when you are sitting down or laying down to avoid injury from falling.
Epilepsy is a neurological condition that can be manifested by flashing light. You nor I have any way of knowing if the predisposition for seizures (epilepsy) is present and dormant. Use the machines at your own risk.
Individuals with epilepsy (seizure disorders), cardiac arrhythmia, brain tumors, brain cancer, traumatic brain injury (closed head injury), or using powerful psychotropic medication, illegal drugs or who drink alcohol should NOT use a mind machine. To do so may be dangerous to you. If you have any other medical or psychiatric condition consult your physician before using any product on this site.
DO NOT listen to Hemi-Sync while driving or operating heavy equipment, or with other devices that may influence brain-wave activity. If you have a tendency towards seizures, auditory disorder, or adverse mental condition(s), DO NOT listen to Hemi-Sync without first consulting your physician. In the unlikely event that you experience any unusual physical or mental discomfort, immediately discontinue use. DO NOT reproduce Hemi-Sync products or use with Dolby® or other noise-reduction systems. Doing so will diminish the effectiveness of the Hemi-Sync signals.
