Yoga is a system of wellness not a religion.

should NOT practice yoga without consulting their physician. Yoga
incorporates a healthy approach to body, mind and spirit. Students
of yoga find that they may start with the physical practice of yoga and
eventually move into review of their diet and personal philosophy.
Yoga works with the glandular system. The body is not over developed as it might be with weight training, Generally yoga will give you the perfect body based upon your size, age and genetics.
