Most of my life I have been vegetarian. When I eat meat the signs and symptoms of fibromyalgia flare. I was diagnosed with fibro about 18 years ago. Looking back I think I had it most of my life.

At that time health food stores were few and far between. Most of what the sales people were talking about made no sense to me. All I wanted was for my son to be healthy and I just prayed and prayed and prayed. And, began eating different foods.
Eventually I became more informed about health foods. After my trip to the doctor I became even more informed about healthy foods. I started reading the labels on food. Oh My God!!! Food contains everything but food. Half the words I couldn't pronounce and the other half I had to search on the web to find out what the ingredient was. Most of the ingredients were sugar, artificial sugar, fat, more fat and genetically engineered food. Yuck. No wonder people are so damn unhealthy and fat. I was a few pounds over weight but not fat - yet.
